Sophomore John Kravetz took the mound as the starter for the Illini against the Wolverines. He would set the pace for the game in the first inning by gettingout of a bases-loaded jam with three straight strikeouts.
ouston had just 1 hit Saturday, but it drove in the game-winning run for Mount Carmel (31-6). Jeff Boehm went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and Dan Pappas was 2-for-3 with a double and 2 runs scored in the win. John Kravetz went all 7 innings, allowing just a single hit and striking out 8 for the win.
