Interests:
Creative writing; non-fiction reading; action, comedic and epic movies; green technologies; swimming; learning Spanish; ancient and continental philosophy; history; religions and cultures of all kinds; community improvement and social justice. Lately working on (mostly thinking about!) writing a memoir, possibly leading up to my current unemployment, having experienced those overused phrases, like a "soul-searching quest" for a "meaningful life" -- in this case through employed service to others -- for example, teaching English to 6 - 12th graders (I'm working on it), becoming a case manager, maybe even joining the Peace Corps. I realize of course that meaning comes from within, regardless of location, current challenges, or employed position.
