Abstract:

A dispenser for dispensing a repositionable adhesive note paper from a roll includes a housing defining an interior and a discharge opening. A drive system of the dispenser includes a roller rotatably mounted within the housing interior and a motor engaging the roller to rotate the roller with respect to the housing about a central axis of the roller. A pressure member is located within the housing and is preferably movable with between an engaged position where it urges the paper into contact with the roller and a disengaged position where it is separated from the roller to permit loading of paper.

Abstract:

An apparatus for shielding a hypodermic needle after use may include a device adapted to accommodate a needle extending from an end thereof, a guard element coupled to the device, a lock element, and an indicator element. The guard element may slide axially with respect to the device and may include a slider portion and a shield portion. The shield portion may include an open slot to accommodate the needle. Upon sliding the guard element to a designated position, the lock element may automatically secure a position of the guard element relative to the device, such that the shield portion obstructs access to the needle tip. The indicator element may provide visual, audible, and/or tactile feedback to indicate that the lock element has been actuated to shield the needle tip.

Abstract:

A case for storing tobacco products comprises body having a cavity formed therein. A divider traverses the cavity and defines a boundary between first and second compartments within the cavity. A first lid is pivotally coupled to the body by a first hinge, and a second lid is pivotally coupled to the body by a second hinge. The first lid can be detachably coupled to the divider so as to enclose the first compartment, and the second lid can be detachably coupled to the divider so as to enclose the second compartment. Preferably, the divider is offset from the medial centerline of the body, so that the first compartment has the same length and depth, but a smaller width, than the second compartment. Thus, the case may be configured such that a single tobacco product can be stored in the first compartment, and multiple tobacco products of the same type can be stored in the second compartment. The first and second compartments are sufficiently sealed when the lids are in the closed position that a burning tobacco product stored in either compartment will be quickly extinguished due to a lack of oxygen when the lid for that compartment is moved to the closed position.

A personal massager comprises a housing having a front end and a back end. A motor is mounted within the housing, and a crank is configured to move in a circular path within the housing when actuated by the motor. A rocker arm having a first end and a second end is rotatably coupled at a first location to the housing. Abstract:

A pillow is formed from a synthetic fiberfill material encased within a bag. In one embodiment, the synthetic fiberfill material is in the form of one or more lengths of chenille yarn fiberfill. The chenille yarn fiberfill is formed from a pile of fibers disposed between a pair of twisted core fibers. The pile of fibers includes microfibers. The lengths of chenille yarn fiberfill may be formed into a chenille cloth fiberfill, a chenille tuft fiberfill, or a chenille pompom fiberfill. In another embodiment, the synthetic fiberfill material is in the form of stretch nylon pompom fiberfill.
