The present disclosure relates to topical, hydroalcoholic foam formulations of antifungal agents, including allylamines such as naftifine. In some embodiments, the topical foam formulations comprise a carrier and a liquefied or compressed gas propellant, wherein the carrier comprises about 2% to about 4% by weight of naftifine hydrochloride; about 15% to about 35% by weight of a Calkyl alcohol; about 15% to about 30% by weight of an alkylene glycol; about 1% to about 2% by weight of a polymer; about 0.5% to about 2.0% by weight of a long chain fatty alcohol; a pH adjuster; about 0.01% to about 0.3% by weight of a chelating agent; water; and optionally about 0.5% to about 1.5% by weight of a preservative; wherein the propellant is present in the formation at about 5% to about 15% by weight of the formulation. Such compositions are useful for treating fungal infections including tinea capitis.
