Abstract:
The track system of the present invention provides dolly track whose joints are substantially seamless, providing a substantially smooth riding surface over the entire length of joined sections of track. The ferrule design of the invention provides ridged piece to piece joining, eliminating pinching and hinging points. This allows multiple assembled track pieces to be moved without damage. The system uses self locking track buckles. A folding cross member system may be folded for ease of movement and placement. In one embodiment, the track is comprised of a carbon fiber hybrid composite with lighter weight and greater strength than prior art steel or aluminum tracks. In addition the track of the present invention does not bend, eliminating the need to reshape or repair the track each time before use.

Abstract:
Embodiments of a track device include a track section with a hollow rail, a rail support member with flanges, eccentric rail support, a cross member with a rotatably coupling, rail ferrules for mating, and rail materials including a lubricious material.
A clamp device designed for use in the motion picture industry where there is a need for temporarily mounting and supporting various lighting and other hardware on or from available surfaces and fixtures without marring them. The clamp device basically includes a fixed jaw attached to one end of a threaded shaft and an adjustable jaw which is movably mounted on the threaded shaft. A threaded adjustment member is coupled to the adjustable jaw to control the position of the jaw along the threaded shaft. Both jaws are configured to accommodate a multiplicity of variously shaped surfaces and structural members on which they are designed to be mounted.
