Abstract:
B7-Like polypeptides, proteins, and nucleic acid molecules are disclosed. In addition to isolated, full-length B7-like proteins, the invention further provides isolated B7-like fusion proteins, antigenic peptides, and anti-B7-like antibodies. The invention also provides B7-like nucleic acid molecules, recombinant expression vectors containing a nucleic acid molecule of the invention, host cells into which the expression vectors have been introduced, and nonhuman transgenic animals in which a B7-like gene has been introduced or disrupted. Diagnostic, screening, and therapeutic methods utilizing compositions of the invention are also provided.

Nucleic Acids Corresponding To Tango 294 A Gene Encoding A Lipase—Like Protein
The invention provides isolated nucleic acids encoding a variety of proteins having diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, and other uses. These nucleic and proteins are useful for diagnosis, prevention, and therapy of a number of human and other animal disorders. The invention also provides antisense nucleic acid molecules, expression vectors containing the nucleic acid molecules of the invention, host cells into which the expression vectors have been introduced, and non-human transgenic animals in which a nucleic acid molecule of the invention has been introduced or disrupted. The invention still further provides isolated polypeptides, fusion polypeptides, antigenic peptides and antibodies. Diagnostic, screening, and therapeutic methods utilizing compositions of the invention are also provided. The nucleic acids and polypeptides of the present invention are useful as modulating agents in regulating a variety of cellular processes.
The invention provides isolated nucleic acid molecules, designated TANGO 228 nucleic acid molecules, which encode secreted proteins with homology to the rat MCA-32 protein, isolated nucleic acid molecules, designated TANGO 240 nucleic acid molecules, which encode secreted proteins with homology to the hypothetical protein Rv0712, and isolated nucleic acid molecules, designated TANGO 243 nucleic acid molecules, which encode proteins with homology to human PLAP (phospholipase A2-activating protein). Diagnostic, screening and therapeutic methods utilizing compositions of the invention are also described/disclosed.
The invention provides isolated nucleic acid molecules, designated FAIL, which encode polypeptide molecules containing Ig and Ig-like domains and which are homologous to FcγRI. Diagnostic, screening and therapeutic methods utilizing compositions of the invention are also provided.
