Description:
Let me start at the beginning and work my way to the present: • March 1994: The "surprise" youngest of three sons to parents who were almost empty-nesters, I start tagging along to my dad's job sites at age 10. He teaches me everything I know about homes. From designing full blueprints to the last nail in the finish carpentry- my education (and love for homes) was born from my time spent with him on the job. • September 2003: As a fresh faced 20 year-old, I start my career in real estate in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. While I consider growing a mustache to help me look more credible, I opt instead for the suit and tie approach. I quickly become a top producer and am selling 35 to 40 homes per year. • June 2007: Disaster strikes as my dad is diagnosed with Lymphoma in the midst of opening an Italian restaurant. Around the same time, the real estate market tanks and I lose everything. I step in to open the restaurant for Dad. I balloon to 230 pounds and am in the worst shape of my life. • June 2008: Hooray, Dad is in remission! He is able to take back the helm of the restaurant. I re-enter real estate with a new approach. I form The Concierge Service Team and become an Internet home-marketing expert. I partner with select Realtors in Lake Havasu City with whom I help hundreds of families buy and sell homes over the next three years. • August 2008: I arrive in Los Angeles! I rent a ridiculously overpriced apartment in a gated community. As I assimilate to life in LA, I find a gorgeous Spanish bungalow on the Westside with French doors that open to a courtyard with a trickling fountain. My chocolate Lab Mason and I enjoy the beautiful Southern California weather. • April 2009: My business partner (a marathon runner who runs 8 miles per day) tells me I'm fat and that I need to get it under control. He signs me up for a half marathon and I train for a year for my first race – I lose almost 70 pounds in the process. I'm later introduced to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ‘s Team In Training and become a captain for the team. I now run several marathons per year. • March 2011: I become Director of Business Development of an internet startup that specializes in real estate marketing – a role that allows me to communicate with hundreds of successful Realtors across the country and integrate their best practices into my own marketing tool kit. • January 2012: I join forces with Partners Trust, and partner with the most inventive and creative minds in Los Angeles real estate. • September 2013: I launch my YouTube channeland blog,a space where I can share with my clients the knowledge I've acquired over more than a decade in real estate marketing and sales.
