My name is Gayle Nagy, Branch Manager and Senior Loan Consultant at Summit Funding in Santa Barbara, California. I am a native Californian and have lived in Santa Barbara since 1970. I am a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Sociology. I have been active in the real estate and mortgage lending professions since 1980 when I obtained a Real Estate Broker's license. I was a full-time Realtor, successfully representing many Buyers and Sellers for more than 12 years. Although I enjoyed the real estate business a great deal, my true passion and satisfaction has come from my accomplishments in the mortgage industry. I owned a successful mortgage brokerage firm until 2009, when it became apparent that my clients would be better served by my affiliation with a direct lender. I then entered into a relationship with Summit Funding, a large Mortgage Bank based in Sacramento, CA and I currently manage our local branch of the Bank. I can now offer my clients a direct mortgage banking relationship for all Conventional, FHA, VA and Reverse mortgage loan products. In addition I can broker "niche" loan products to many wholesale lender sources for non-conforming loans and clients with unique lending requirements. The lending industry and guidelines have changed dramatically over the past decade. I believe it is my primary responsibility to understand and interpret those guidelines for all clients who seek my services. Every client is unique and many of my clients derive income from complex financial entities. It is my job to decipher and understand complex individual and corporate tax returns, correctly integrating that information with ever-changing lending guidelines. My commitment to my clients consists of a high level of integrity, an utmost sense of client confidentiality, and my ability to examine and understand their finances as a whole, therefore enabling me to advise them regarding the best possible mortgage choices for them. I have also served on the Boards of many local Non-Profit Organizations including Phoenix of Santa Barbara, Montessori Center School, Montecito Rotary Club, and Women's Economic Ventures.
