A method of coating a microneedle array by applying a coating fluid using a flexible film in a brush-like manner. A method of coating a microneedle array comprising: providing a microneedle array having a substrate and a plurality of microneedles; providing a flexible film; providing a coating solution comprising a carrier fluid and a coating material; applying the coating solution onto a first major surface of the flexible film; performing a transfer step of bringing the first major surface of the flexible film into contact with the microneedles and removing the flexible film from contact with the microneedles; and allowing the carrier fluid to evaporate. Also, a method of coating a microneedle array by applying a coating solution onto a first major surface of a coating substrate to form a layer of applied coating solution having a thickness equal to or less than the height of at least one of the microneedles and performing a transfer step of bringing the first major surface of the coating substrate into contact with the microneedles and removing the coating substrate from contact with the microneedles, thereby transferring at least a portion of the coating solution to the microneedle array.

A method of handling an adhesive laminate, wherein the adhesive laminate is provided releasably adhered to a first web, comprising a plurality of cut or punched sections and wherein adjacent sections of the adhesive laminate remain joined to one another in the longitudinal direction of the web through one or more tie points. A first supporting structure and a second supporting structure adjacent to the first supporting structure are provided. The first web is led over the first supporting structure. A second web is provided and led over the second supporting structure, wherein the second web is oriented such that the release surface of the second web faces the first supporting structure. A leading portion of a first section of adhesive laminate from the first web is attached to the release surface of the second web and the second web is advanced such that the first section of the adhesive laminate is detached from a second section of adhesive laminate and the leading edge of the second section of adhesive laminate is adhered to the second web in a spaced apart configuration from the trailing edge of the first section of the adhesive laminate. A transdermal drug delivery device prepared by such a method.

Abstract:
Methods of handling adhesive laminate patches. A first article, passed over a first supporting structure, includes disconnected adhesive laminate patches adhered to a first web, each patch being aligned over and adhered to a tab. A second web can be passed over a second supporting structure that is separated from the first supporting structure by a gap. The first article can be passed over the first supporting structure to lift a leading portion of a first tab and a first patch off of the first web together, such that the first tab facilitates transfer of the first patch across the gap. The first patch can then be adhered to the second web; and the second web can be advanced to transfer the first patch, and first tab, onto the second web to form a second article comprising patches aligned over tabs on the second web.
A portable, firearm support stand. The stand has a foldable, collapsible and expandable leg system, a handle connected to the leg system, and a firearm support also connected to the leg system. The foldable leg system includes first, second, third and fourth legs, each leg having a bottom, a top region and a midpoint region. The top regions of the first and third legs are pivotally connected to each other. The top regions of the second and fourth legs are pivotally connected to each other. The midpoint regions of the first and second legs are pivotally connected to each other. And the midpoint regions of the third and fourth legs are pivotally connected to each other. The handle is disposed at the top region of one leg. The firearm support is disposed at the top region of one leg.
