Abstract:
The present invention relates to a coating composition and a pigment dispersant comprising aldimine having the formula ##STR1## wherein R. sub. 1 is alkyl, aryl, cycloaliphatic or substituted alkyl, aryl, cycloaliphatic or heterocyclic group, and R. sub. 2 is monomeric or polymeric aliphatic, aromatic, arylaliphatic or cycloaliphatic group which may contain O, N, S, or Si. The coating composition further comprises: b) an isocyanate compound having ubetdione functionality, c) at least one moisture absorbing compound, and d) acid catalyst, wherein the coating composition demonstrates increased pot life and decreased dry time.
