Abstract:
An improved blocking member and vegetation barrier for the bottom of fences. A ground covering member has first and second opposite ends and opposite rolled under edges, and it somewhat rigid but somewhat flexible. The ground covering member can be placed directly on the ground even if the ground undulates relative to the fence bottom, and can be kept in that position once the riser is secured to the fence. The ground covering member can be resilient and create reactionary force if it is pressed against the ground. This can further assist in maintaining the blocking member and vegetation barrier in a fixed position relative the ground and the fence. The device can be made in lengths that can be interconnected with one another and/or installed between fence posts.

Abstract:
A golfing tool or accessory to reduce or eliminate substantial stooping and bending of a golfer includes a mounting member for snap-fitting the tool or accessory to a golf club shaft or grip and first member for cradling a golf ball. Another aspect of the invention includes a tee holder for holding the tee to allow it to be inserted into the ground by manipulating the golf club shaft without stooping or bending. Further aspects of the invention can include structure for picking up a tee lying horizontally on the ground and a scissors-action of jaws of the tool for popping a golf ball into position on the tool.

Abstract:
A holder for a tape measure includes an upper portion including an attaching section to attach to a belt, and a lower portion connected to the upper portion, the lower portion being substantially rigid and including a slot to receive a clip of the tape measure.
Cleaning Implement Including Brace Of Elastomeric Material
A broom brace for attachment between a broom handle and a broom head. A flexible but resilient elastomeric member is positioned intermediate the broom head and the main portion of the handle. Connecting members allow the handle and broom head to be connected to the flexible member. Portions of the connecting members can be encapsulated within the elastomeric material forming the flexible member.

Abstract:
An improved shim such as is used to wedge between door frames and walls in construction applications. The improved shim is made of a non-wood material which resists splintering, splitting, and compression. It also resists decay, rot and degradation over time. The shim is an elongated wedge-shape. It can include transverse slots, grooves, or scores which make it frangible at various locations along its length to size it to different lengths. The improved shim can be manufactured linked end-to-end and foldable into a compact stack.
Gap Blocker And Vegetation Barrier For The Bottom Of Fences

Abstract:
An improved blocking member and vegetation barrier for the bottom of fences includes a riser portion that runs along one side of the fence. The riser is somewhat flexible and is securable to the fence in a manner that allows the installer to adjust the riser vertically relative to the fence or other portions of the riser, if necessary, and restrain it from any substantial vertical movement once secured. A ground covering member extends transversely from the lower part of the riser. Thus, the ground covering member can be placed directly on the ground even if the ground undulates relative to the fence bottom, and can be kept in that position once the riser is secured to the fence. The ground covering member can be resilient and create reactionary force if it is pressed against the ground. This can further assist in maintaining the blocking member and vegetation barrier in a fixed position relative the ground and the fence. The device can be made in lengths that can be interconnected by spacers that extend between the lengths.
Apparatus And Method For Holding A Tool On A Container Lip Or Edge
The apparatus and method for removably holding a tool on a container having a lip or edge. The apparatus includes a cradle having a substantial open front and top. A bridge or retainer bridges a substantial part of the open portion of the cradle at an opposite end but defines an opening sufficient to allow a tool handle to pass through. A connection or mount is positioned on the underside of the cradle for releasably mounting the cradle to the lip or edge of a container. The handle can easily be placed in the substantially open cradle with the retainer bridge preventing rotation of the handle vertically, the cradle preventing any movement of the handle transverse to the longitudinal axis of the cradle, but the holder allowing the handle to be slid along the longitudinal axis of the cradle into a holding position. In one aspect of the invention, the mount consists of a generally universal clip for various size edges or lips of containers and optionally can include a locking clip for conventional paint can lips.

Abstract:
An exercise device produced by a process, including oppositely disposed handle members having outer gripping portions and inner portions to which are attached flange members. An elastromeric middle member is molded at least over the flange members which connects the handle members into a unitary bar-like exercise device. The molding of the middle member encapsulates the flange members to provide a secure and non-releasable junction. The middle member, being deformable and twistable, allows many different types of exercise movements of the handle members. The middle member provides resistance to such deforming and twisting movements and also resiliently returns the handle members to an original position after deformation or twisting of the middle member.
