Abstract:

A segment type diamond tool, used for cutting or drilling brittle substances, such as stones, bricks, concrete structures, or asphalt structures, is disclosed. In the diamond tool, the segments are each set with diamonds in a single-layered structure or a multi-layered structure, and are alternately or intermittently arranged on a steel core, different from conventional diamond tools having segments randomly set with diamonds. Such a diamond arrangement of this invention allows the diamonds to more effectively perform their cutting action, and so the diamond tool has an increased cutting rate, in addition to reducing the amount of fine debris generated during a cutting or drilling process to ill-affect workers health or cause environmental pollution. In the segments each set with diamonds in the single-layered or multi-layered structure, the diamond arrangement is designed such that the diamonds of each trailing segment form grooves on the surface of a brittle substance along the lands between grooves previously formed on the surface of the brittle substance by the diamonds of a leading segment.

Abstract:

An improved toothbrush comprising a thin bristled pick rotatably mounted at the bottom end of the toothbrush handle. A rotating device allows the bristle pick to be extended roughly 85 degrees from the handle shaft so that the user may insert the pick between the teeth with ease for cleaning purposes. When not in use, the pick may be stored within the shaft of the toothbrush by rotating it inward and into a small rectangular cavity in the shaft. The added bristled pick feature allows users to attain enhanced tooth cleaning benefits from one device instead of a plurality of cleaning utensils.

Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for incorporating non-native amino acids into a single polypeptide. In one example, an isolated modified suppressor tRNA is disclosed that includes the following: a modified tRNA, wherein the tRNAhas been modified so that an anticodon of the tRNA is complementary to a stop codon; a cysteine amino acid residue is covalently linked to the modified tRNAby aminoacylation generating a chemically reactive sulfhydryl side chain; and a detectable label is covalently linked to the sulfhydryl side chain.
