Abstract:
A diaper disposal system for packaging odorous waste objects in individual sealed (substantially air-tight) packages includes a body, base, hinged lid, flexible material, and a first sealing member and second sealing member. The sealing members are operable to seal or form a substantially air-tight seal in the flexible material to prevent the odor from escaping. The sealing members move between an open position and closed/sealing position by twisting an inner lid, closing the lid, or moving an activation arm. The sealing members preferably seal the tubing by thermally fusing the tubing. A method is also provided.
A system and method for cooling air includes using a refrigerant cooling system and further using a refrigerant liquefaction subsystem or method that includes using a heat sink cooler (âpre-coolerâ) to cool the heat sink coolant before it is used to cool the refrigerant in the condenser. One aspect of the refrigerant liquefaction subsystem may use a water mist, which may be prepared by atomizers, high pressure nozzles, piezo-electric ultrasonic nebulizers, or the like, to cool the heat sink coolant.

A heat transfer system is provided having an air-cooled heat exchanger system. The heat exchanger system has an evaporator, condenser, compressor and a fan for forcing air over a heat exchange surface for effecting heat transfer. A mist generator having at least one nozzle directs a stream of fine mist or atomized liquid coolant into the air. The mist generator is coupled to a supply of liquid coolant. A controller controls the degree of mist or atomized coolant generated by the mist generator. A filter element positioned between the at least one nozzle and the heat exchange surface captures droplets of liquid coolant. The at least one nozzle is spaced apart from the filter element for directing the stream directly into the air surrounding the filter element.

Prefilter System For Heat Transfer Unit And Method
A method of transferring heat is accomplished by providing a heat exchanger unit that is at least partially air cooled. The heat exchanger unit has an evaporator, condenser, compressor and a fan for forcing air over an exteriorly located heat exchange surface of the condenser. A fiberglass filter element is positioned adjacent to the heat exchange surface of the condenser for capturing at least one of grease, debris and other contaminants that are not entrained within any liquid cooling fluid that would otherwise contact the heat exchange surface. The filter element is allowed to capture the at least one of grease, debris and other contaminants prior to contact with the heat exchange surface of the condenser.
