Abstract:

Systems and methods are provided for the non-invasive computation of Pulmonary Artery Pressure (and its components of mean, systolic and diastolic) (PAP) as well as Pulmonary Capillary Wedge Pressure (and its components of mean, A-Wave and V-Wave) (PCWP) using a wearable sensor device. Cardiac acoustic and electrocardiogram sensor signals are obtained and multiple temporal, amplitude-based, and spectral features are extracted from the signals. Extracted features from a subject are used as inputs for pre-trained classification, regression, or advanced machine learning models to provide an accurate computation of PAP and PCWP and their associated component values without surgery.

Abstract:

The present invention generally relates to fluidic droplets and systems and methods for determining immune or other cells. Some aspects of the invention are generally directed to assays that combine sensitive detection of secreted products with detection of target cell death in droplets containing an effector cell, systems and methods to isolate droplets in which one or more cell interactions have occurred, or systems and methods to generate nucleic acid information from cell interactions. In addition, some embodiments of the invention are generally directed to containing two (or more) cells in droplets, e.g., an effector cell and one or more target cells, and determining various interactions between the cells within the droplets, such as whether the effector cell kills the target cell, whether the effector cell releases antibodies, cytokines or other substances that are able to interact with the target cell or are released in the presence of the target cell, or the like.

Abstract:

Steel compositions are provided. A steel composition may include iron; from 0.015 to 0.06 wt. % carbon; from 9 to 12 wt. % chromium; from 0.75 to 1.5 wt. % manganese; from 0.08 to 0.18 wt. % molybdenum; from 0.10 to 0.30 wt. % silicon; from 0.2 to 1.0 wt. % vanadium; from 0.05 to 1.2 wt. % niobium; and optionally, an amount of an additional precipitate forming alloying element. Methods of making the steel compositions are also provided.
